Member of the Management Board / CEO – Andreas Liebing
Andreas Liebing from Berlin, Germany, is the founder and initiator of StoneOne and has been one of Germany’s leading IT experts for over 20 years now.
Already during his student years at the TU Berlin (majoring in Math and Computer Science), Andreas Liebing explored central management of secure information and operating system structuring. After graduating from university, he gained practical experience at Schering, Nixdorf, Stiftung Warentest and the Berlin software company MIS, where he contributed to developing the award-winning Papyrus word processing system as a project manager. In 1985 he then established his first own business, Liebing&Ullfors GmbH, from which later emerged WIN!DMS GmbH, a company specialized in document management and archiving, and SAPERION AG in 1992.
In the first few years, Andreas Liebing was also a member of the board of directors at the Fördergemeinschaft Junger Unternehmer (FJU), an association dedicated to supporting young entrepreneurs. In 2004 Andreas Liebing was nominee and laureate of the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award.
Member of the Management Board / CSO – Dr. Mathias Petri
Dr. Mathias Petri is co-founder and managing partner of StoneOne AG. Petri, alongside Andreas Liebing, is considered a pioneer in the areas of management information systems and enterprise content management.
After completing his studies of business administration at the Freie Universität Berlin and the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich, Petri started his vocational career as a business consultant. Petri assumed business responsibility as a managing partner of the Berlin-based optical character recognition specialist Signum GmbH.
At the Siemens Group he was in charge of Sales and Marketing of the DMS (Document Management Systems) product unit. As member of the board of directors at ECM (Enterprise Content Management) provider SAPERION AG, he played a central role in helping to get the company established and implementing the strategic focus on major customers. As general manager of Beta Systems Software AG, Petri was responsible for the global ECM business with a strong emphasis on input and output management automation.
Mathias Petri is spokesman of the Software as a Service user group of SIBB (association of software, IT and communication industry in Berlin and Brandenburg); in February 2010 he became President of the SIBB.
In 2004 Petri was nominated ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ together with Andreas Liebing and was one of the laureates. Mathias Petri has made various publications, including “Scannen und optische Zeichenerkennung”, a book on the fundamentals of scanning and OCR.
